We have compiled a list of the real estate market awards. Professional awards attest to the high quality of a property or company services and help a building or a market player stand out from the competition.

One of the best known Russian awards in commercial real estate. The prize was established back in 2003 and is held annually. Applications for properties are considered in 10 categories. Property management and development companies are also nominated. “The golden brick” award is the coveted prize for all market players.

A nationwide prize in commercial real estate. Market players are nominated in 7 categories. The award’s external adviser is PwC.

The largest Russian award in urban residential real estate. Since 2009 the independent expert panel has been selecting the best residential projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The jury considers a vast scope of site criteria like construction costs, architecture, energy efficiency, amenity, marketing and management. The prize winners are awarded as “The best property of the year” in the respective nomination.

A worldwide professional award in residential and commercial real estate. Every year properties from all over the world are judged according to a variety of criteria like quality of construction and engineering, energy efficiency, innovativeness, design and architecture.
Russian and other European residential and commercial properties compete at a regional stage of the contest named European Property Awards. Winners of this stage can represent not just their respective country but also the whole European continent at the global event – International Property Awards.
Prospective participants of the competition are required to submit an application and pay the registration fee. Presentation materials and questionnaire answers are submitted in English. -
The contest has been held since 2000 by the Moscow city department of urban planning. Only completed projects may take part, i.e. properties that acquired commissioning permit during the year preceding the one the award takes place in.
Notably, the award’s 12 categories comprise not only residential and commercial buildings, but also cultural sites, renovation and adaption of the premises, and transport infrastructure. -
For 10 years this international award has been the prime
Russian professional prize in business and public space interior design. Various projects can participate, including those of office interiors, atriums, business center entrance groups, coworkings and other business spaces. All the projects should be completed in the predefined time period. -
An international contest, held since 1992 by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) with the support of the Wall Street Journal.
FIABCI Prix d’Excellence selects nominees in 16 categories, comprising such segments as residential, commercial, industrial, office real estate, integrated development projects etc. FIABCI-Russia holds its national stage of the global contest – “The best completed developer project at the Russian real estate market”. -
One of the most prestigious prizes at the commercial real estate management market. TOBY AWARDS honors the best property management companies which reveal the full potential of their buildings. The jury consists of top managers of developer, property management and consulting companies, and market analysts. The contest is carried out in several stages. The winners are awarded at the PROESTATE International investment forum.

A contest for innovative real estate projects using breakthrough technologies and novel materials which can positively influence the quality of the environment.

A “hi-tech” real estate award. The expert panel evaluates buildings according to their energy efficiency, lifespan, environmental impact and effect on human health. Residential and commercial real estate properties from Moscow, Russian regions and CIS countries compete in three sets of nominations. Participation is open to already completed projects as well as to those in progress.

This award is referred to as “the Oscars of the Russian real estate market”. The country’s leading market players and companies along with residential and commercial properties compete for the prize. The winners are chosen by a joint vote of the jury, customers vote and 500 market experts.
A registration fee is required for participation. -
An annual housing real estate award, established in 2014 by the internet portal Move.ru. Several prize nominations are based on buildings' class and location.

Reputation is the first Russian federal award in the field of real estate, which evaluates specific persons in this industry. The award is aimed at recognizing leaders and outstanding employees who not only contributes to the development of their companies, but also determine the vector of development of the real estate industry as a whole.
The award is held by the REPA (Real Estate Professionals' Association). -
The annual JOY (Journalist Of The Year) award was established in 2011 by the REPA (Real Estate Professionals' Association). The purpose of the award is to encourage the best journalists writing on the topic of real estate, as well as to improve their professional level and shape new standards of information coverage in this field.
Within the framework of JOY there are:
- news event of the year - a study of the best PR-cases from the real estate sector over the past year, carried out in conjunction with the informational and analytical system "Medialogia";
- MEDIA & PR Summit - an annual summit for journalists and PR specialists of the real estate market, where the future of PR directions, trends, tools, best cases, etc. are discussed. -
The annual all-Russian professional Russian Coworking Awards was established in 2018 by the organizing committee of the PROESTATE forum, the Academy of Real Estate Training Center and has established itself as a unique event that has no analogues in the segment of coworking spaces in Russia.

The competition annually attracts the attention of professionals to the topics of balanced transformation and development of urban areas, the creation of attractive public spaces and a comfortable living environment.
Within the framework of the competition, dozens of young architects present new architectural and urban planning principles that contribute to the creation of a decent urban environment. -
All-Russian PROESTATE Media Awards 2020 for journalists covering the commercial real estate market, construction, housing development, urban infrastructure modernization, housing and communal services and housing management.
