For 49 years, the main activity of the Institute has been work in the field of additional professional education. During this time, about 270 thousand managers and specialists of most branches of the food and processing industry in Russia, the CIS countries and 63 countries of the world have undergone retraining and advanced training within its walls. In 2001, the Institute, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, for the development of educational activities, established the International Industrial Academy, which made it possible to accredit the Academic Council, expand the range of educational areas and open postgraduate studies. The Academy annually conducts training for more than 7 thousand people and regularly organizes International and All-Russian forums, product quality reviews, conferences, symposia and seminars on topical issues of the agro-industrial sector.
